Welcome to February, the month of love, connection, and new opportunities! As winter continues to embrace us, we hope this newsletter brings a little extra warmth to your day.

February and March Meetings:

February 16, 2025 – Sing, Dance, and Celebrate!

Join us for a fun-filled gathering where you can meet friends, sing, and dance. Shivani Joshi will lead a short group dance, and there will be other fun surprises.

February 23, 2025 – Floral Arrangement Class with Anila Shah

Learn the art of creating beautiful bouquets and centerpieces while enjoying a relaxing and creative atmosphere. No experience needed. Here are some samples of her work:

March 2, 2025 – “Bias Response Hotline” Presentation

The Oregon Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Unit will present on the Bias Response Hotline, a resource for reporting and addressing incidents of bias and discrimination.

2025 Membership

While membership is optional, it plays a vital role in keeping our events free, ensuring broader accessibility for seniors. Your membership dues and donations support this initiative.

ASIO Inter-generational Book Club

In January and February, we will be reading and discussing “The Lincoln Highway” by Amor Towles. Meetings are held on the last Friday of the month via Zoom.

Next meeting: February 28, 2025, 11 AM – Noon (Discussion: Pages 281 to end).
