Beaverton Meetings

Saturday, September 5, 2026

Venue:  Beaverton City Library, Auditorium

Meeting Time: 2:30 – 4:30 pm

Journey Through Tribal and Rural Craft

We will be screening this beautiful documentary, made by Supriya Suhas and team, which explores the artistry, traditions, and craftsmanship found in India’s tribal and rural communities.

Bethany Meetings

Where: Chinmaya Mission Haridwar, 3551 NE John Olsen Ave., Hillsboro, OR 97124

When: Every Wednesday, 6:15 – 7:45 p.m.

Following is the agenda for each meeting in the month of September:

Sept 2nd:

  • Bharatnatyam by Uthra Mahadevan,
  • Bollywood songs by Sandi Prakash Bhide, and
  • Bingo.

Sept 9th:

  • Talk by Dr. John on How GLP-1 drugs make a small meal feel sufficient. 
  • Talk by Dr. Hanumantha Rao, “How to stay healthy and happy after the age of 70”.

Sept 16th:

  • Talk by Neel Kamal on Benefits of Chanting Nam Jaap.
  • Honoring Sahayana volunteers of Chinmaya Mission
  • Release of souvenirs of tribal craft by Supriya Suhas Ganpule

Sept 23rd:

  • Slide show of award-winning photos taken by Sunil Kulkarni.

Sept 30th:

  • Talk by Dr. Kantilal on nighttime cramps.

Bingo Games (WhatsApp)

Every Monday and Thursday | 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. PST
