Dear Friends, Happy New Year! Welcome to January and the start of another wonderful year in our community. The Association of Seniors of Indian Origin (ASIO) Board looks forward to sharing meaningful moments, helpful resources, and enjoyable activities with you in the weeks ahead. Let’s make this year one filled with connection, comfort, and care.

January Meeting

Date: Saturday, January 17, 2026 Time: 2:30 – 4:15PM Venue: Beaverton City Library, 12375 SW 5th St, Beaverton, OR 97005 (Meeting Room B)
Price: Free
Join us for an enjoyable program featuring a dance performance by the students of Raga Dance School. A gentle, guided light dance will be offered for those who wish to participate, followed by a friendly game of Bingo. Tea and snacks provided by ASIO.

While membership is optional, it plays a vital role in keeping our events free, ensuring broader accessibility for seniors.
Your membership dues and donations support this initiative, and we welcome you to be a part of it. Please consider joining by clicking on MemberRegistrationDetails – ASIO, or you may bring a check to one of our events.
Membership Fees:
  • $40 per person
  • $70 per couple

Other ASIO Groups and Meeting

ASIO Inter-generational Book Club

We will discuss “Rough Sleepers” by Tracy Kidder on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 11 AM to noon. Please note that this is also the book chosen by “One Book One Beaverton” event sponsored by Beaverton City Library. There will be opportunities to join other book discussions around the town and to meet the author in the month of Jan – Feb. ASIO Hiking Group
