July is the month of celebration, sunshine and community. From gathering with family and friends for 250th Independence Day to enjoying the outdoors, local parks, and summertime traditions, July reminds us to appreciate freedom, friendship, and the simple joys of the season.

Summer Picnics

Come join us for a fun family picnic on a Bus Tour or Drive on your own!

Where: Rooster Rock State Park, Shelter B, Bonneville Dam and Multnomah Falls

When: Sunday, July 12, 2026

Registration required, closes on July 9, 2026.

Friendly Reminders

  • Dress for the weather: wear a hat, sunscreen, and comfortable walking shoes.
  • Stay hydrated: please bring a water bottle.
  • Bring your favorite outdoor games and sports equipment, such as frisbees, badminton sets, pickleball paddles, balls, and other fun activities to share.

Bethany Meetings

When: Every Wednesday, 6:15 – 7:45 p.m.

While membership is optional, it plays a vital role in keeping our events free and ensuring broader accessibility for seniors. Your membership dues and donations support this initiative, and we welcome you to be a part of it.

  • $40 per person
  • $70 per couple
